An online school for doctors preparing for the Italian medical licence exam. A live Zoom class becomes a published lesson minutes later on its own, exams are marked by the system or by a tutor, and students study on an interactive 3D body.

The problem it solved
A doctor who trained outside Italy cannot practise until they pass the national licensing exam. The school that prepares them was teaching live, and everything around the teaching sat somewhere else: classes on Zoom, recordings on somebody's drive, materials sent as files, questions in a messaging group, and all of it in three languages.
Two things kept breaking. Recordings reached students late or not at all, because publishing them was manual work. And material, once sent, was out of the school's hands: one file could be forwarded to a hundred people who never paid.
What the platform does
Organised courses
Tracks, courses, modules and lessons, with its own text at every level in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
Live classes publish themselves
The class ends on Zoom and minutes later it is a recorded lesson in the right module. Nobody downloads, trims or uploads anything.
Four exam formats
Quiz, mock exam, written exam and oral exam, from a question bank organised by topic.
Marking that fits the answer
Multiple choice is marked instantly. Written and oral answers go to a tutor marking queue, audio answers included.
Body and skeleton in 3D
48 labelled points on the body and 48 on the skeleton, in four modes: study, consultation, timed challenge and type the name.
A walkable emergency department
A 3D emergency department with six rooms and clickable instruments: stethoscope, defibrillator, EKG, ultrasound, pulse oximeter and crash cart.
Flashcards
Cards with tags, bulk import and a progress dashboard for each student.
Material that does not leak
Each student gets a PDF watermarked with their own name, opened in a reader with no download button, and every opening is logged.
Moderated community
A feed with posts, comments, reactions and hashtags. Reports go to a tutor-reviewed queue that can block and unblock.
Certificate on completion
A PDF generated automatically at the end of a course, carrying a unique validation code.
Released module by module
Modules open a set number of days after that student's purchase, integrated with Hotmart.
Student documents
Students submit their documents and an analyst reviews them inside the platform, with a support desk for questions.

Interactive and Dynamic Flashcards
We built the flashcards with modern animations to make memorising both easier to stick with and more effective.
Cards are organised with tags and can be imported in bulk, so a whole deck does not have to be typed in one card at a time.
Each student has a progress dashboard that shows how the revision is going, which helps them spot what still needs work.

Quality, Reliability and Smart Integrations
What matters here is that an update does not break the class a student is in the middle of. The backend is covered by 630 automated tests, and the recording pipeline has no manual step anyone can forget.
The platform also carries the integrations a school selling online actually needs: live classes are run from inside the platform, and a purchase turns into access on its own.

How it turned out
- A live class ends and becomes a published lesson in the right module within minutes, with nobody editing or uploading a file.
- Students study in Italian, Portuguese or Spanish on the same platform, down to the wording of exam questions.
- Material can be handed out without losing control of the file: every copy is watermarked with the reader's name, opens in a reader that never gives the browser a savable file, and every view is logged with the IP address.
- Objective marking is instant. Written and oral answers reach the tutors in a single queue instead of by email.
- The 3D body, skeleton and emergency department give the school something a PDF course has no way to offer.

For technical visitors

- Modular domain-driven NestJS backend: 86 data models, 40 enums, 213 business use cases, 64 domain entities, 57 controllers across 38 modules.
- Recording pipeline with no human step: Zoom webhook, signed download, upload to Panda Video, video.ready webhook, domain event, lesson and video created in the correct module. A cron poller covers a missed webhook.
- 630 automated tests on the backend (408 unit, 222 e2e). The frontend has no tests yet, and we do not treat a test count as proof of quality.
- Document protection at three levels: a queue worker renders one individually watermarked PDF per entitled student, CloudFront signed URLs with expiry, a bespoke canvas reader that never hands the browser a file, a per-view audit log with IP and user agent, and rate-limit headers on the protected tier.
- 16,604 lines of 3D code, 20 GLB models (16 MB), 48 body and 48 skeleton hotspots. 321 React components across 37 routes, with 19 admin tabs.
- Redis and BullMQ for queues and cache, OpenTelemetry for tracing, AWS infrastructure (S3, CloudFront) provisioned with Terraform and Ansible.
- JWT auth with refresh tokens, rate limiting and protection headers. Four roles, including a document analyst.
